Finally........

We are probably the last in the county to get our Christmas
tree, but we finally got ours YESTERDAY! Here are a few pics to highlight the event. We actually all fit into a single cab pick-up, but we were scrunched!!!!! I posted these pics backwards again, but you get the idea. Every time I took a pic, Grady would cover his face. I had to sneak this one while he and Corey weren't looking. There is Corey out in the frigid cold, while we're all snuggled in the truck watching him work. Then it's the tree finished. The boys decorated it while in their undies this morning. They probably wouldn't be very happy if they knew I told you that! LOL We had a ball laughing at Grady's static "hair". He just stood there and made faces while we giggled. He really didn't know why we were laughing. Levi and Wylie are making cookies for me. They had fun cutting out all of them and snacking on the dough. Hope today finds all of you ready for Christmas. I'm getting closer after shopping today. I hope you all are staying warm too, in these terribly cold temperatures. May God bless you and your families this week ( and every week :) )

Another bouncing baby boy.......

We have a new nephew/cousin!! He arrived on Friday Dec 5th at 1:33pm. His name is Jarrin Joseph Brumfield. Sorry I do not have a photo, his father wouldn't share him long enough to snatch one. (not really, I forgot MY camera! I was working :) ) He's a cutie!! He weighed 8lb 14 1/2 oz. and was 22 1/2 in. long. He resembles a Pfizenmaier with his blond hair. I'm excited to get my baby fix without having to have one!! We realized that between Lori/Allen and us, we have enough for an 8 man FB team! LOL And, no we don't need that little girl!

We had Bailen and Dalton out today after church so their mommy and baby brother could have some quiet time. The boys took off (after being denied the computer and the PS2) to the bales out behind our house and played whatever it is they play. They then gandered over to the small body of water and "accidentally" got muddy. Yeah right. Of course it was right as we had to leave to go work some cattle. They didn't really help with the cattle, but they had fun riding the horse and playing on the bales. Grady even got to ride the horse with Bailen. He likes to tell daddy that "I can ride a horse too." The family who lives near the farm have a puppy that followed Grady around. It was quite cute to see the two of them walking around getting into mischief together. We came back to our house and ate pizza that Corey brought home.

We had a good sermon at church today from Pastor David. Apparently, I have alot of work to do, for I was convicted but yet lifted once again today. The question of the day is: Is our faith ONLY a system of belief? Or, is it ALSO a way of life? It needs to be both whole heartedly. Malachi 1:6-10 says (not specifically) it's better to bring NO lamb (a sacrifice) at all than to bring a blemished one. Which could mean, don't bring your left over time, commitment, affection to Him. That wouldn't be your best, which is what we are to do. He gave us His best: Jesus. I'm thinking I need to reevaluate my time, talents and commitments and see who is getting the better end of the deal! What about you....?
