The Moving Day

It seems like I like to post a lot of photos of us moving cattle.  Well, here are some more! =)  This time of year we like to act like real cowboys and move them around from field to pen.  These pics were taken earlier in March when it was still really cold out.  Oh yeah, it STILL cold out isn't it?  Sorry that I tried to confuse you.  Or maybe it's me who is confused?!  lol  It's not like it's Spring or anything and it should be warm.  Anyway.....

Here's Cowboy getting the first horse out.

A little help from dad every now and then sure helps.

Our nephew always comes and helps us.  He loves it!

Cowboy getting the horse ready to ride.

Billy Bob and Beamer Bob get to ride the 'modern' horse.

Whatcha doing behind there Mr. Cowboy??  Too much coffee? =)

My Cowboy.  He seems to have the look of "put that dang thing away".

Rounding up the stubborn ones.

These two brats WOULD NOT COOPERATE.

Still not cooperating.

Hand signals.....got to keep your eye on the Cowboy.

Still being a brat, the calf that is.....

Far away view.  They cut across and I have to drive around the section.

It's a grainy pic, but it was from half a mile away.

The horse will win everytime!

Levi's cow had a limp and he had to follow her by the trees.

Yes, you need to keep going forward.  The hay coming is not for you though.

When one goes....they all go....the wrong way!

Almost to the pen, several hours later.

They found the hole.....it seems to be harder than you think sometimes.

All done!!

Mr. G finally getting his turn on the 4 wheeler with big brother.

Love it! I remember the days I used to be out there - "standing in the gap".

Love the pictures. I especially liked the one with the riders from a distance on the horizon. Priceless.
